I teach English and reading, and we all know that both of those are just more fun and easier to be successful at when you are comfortable and content! My kids sit in 90-minute block classes all day, so whether it be morning energy or afternoon exhaustion, sitting still for 90 minutes while expecting their brain to engage if often not a formula for success. I believe by giving them different seating options that allow for movement, they will be able to expel some of their energy in positive ways while becoming better readers and analyzers. My kids are often more hands-on and ask frequently for tasks to just get them up and moving because they have sat in a chair all day. I am so excited to give them this opportunity. I have no doubt for some, it will be the key to their success!
