A Long Walk to Water is based on true stories of children in Sudan and their struggles for survival. We have many children from foreign countries that have experienced similar struggles and we have children who have never experienced the world outside of their neighborhood. By exposing our children to engaging and thoughtful literature we will be able to meaningfully teach students the art of reading comprehension as well as teach them about the world around them. By having the 90 copies of the book, we will have enough material to share across our entire grade level. We would be so grateful for your support. Thank you!
