Many students cannot learn while sitting still for more than a few minutes, especially in the younger grades. My kindergarteners will benefit from seats that allow them to fidget without disrupting others' learning. Once flexible seating expectations are established, students can choose a seating option that best fits their needs. These lightweight seats will also be easy for the students to move around the classroom depending on whether we're working as a whole group, independently at our seats, or in a rotating workshop setting. Movement stimulates children's brains, helping to develop a deeper understanding of important topics and creating critical-thinkers who can transform the world. And with these seating options, my students will positively transform our world!
