Back to school shopping like the requested staples, paper, index cards, folders can be a difficult task for most of my students' families. Most come from low-income families and may experience trauma, such as housing and food instability, incarcerations, families that suffer from mental issues, etc. Therefore, the teachers are placed in situations where they most provide for their classrooms and this continues all throughout the school year. By donating to this campaign, you are alleviating some of the burden off of the teacher, which will allow the teacher to invest more time and energy in cultivating the young minds in the classroom. They will participate in different learning activities using the supplies from this campaign.
