With the different options for seating such as camping chairs, yoga mats, and standing desks, I can give students a choice of where they sit and how they finish their work. I can create small group sessions that are more conducive to discussion with different seating options. If you were to walk into my classroom you could possibly see students sprawled out on a yoga mat with their favorite book or utilizing the clipboards in a vocabulary review. Students can use the headphones during class to listen to podcasts or create an audio-review of a book they just finished. We will use Alexa in our classroom to help find answers to questions in our reading and to take brain breaks while adding some fun into the classroom. I asked for snacks because some of my students will go home or come to school hungry and it is crucial to their education to have a full belly while they are trying to learn.
