Students deserve to have a classroom environment that meets their needs. When students do not have what they need to succeed, they tend to loose focus and end up causing classroom distractions. Donating to my classroom will help ensure that my students learning area is as supportive to their diverse needs as possible. By donating to my classroom, you are helping my students learn in a prepared and encouraging environment. Not having a pencil for class may not cross a students mind if their power wasn't on that morning. A wobble chair may help a young man cope with some built up energy after an argument at home. Many high schoolers face various outside stressers; I hope to give my students a place where they feel comfortable and open to learning. Being able to provide my students with alternative seating and basic classroom supplies, will help them feel fully supported and increase their drive to apply themselves in my class.
