When students love to read, they love coming to school and are eager to learn! Our independent reading time is a very special time in our class, students will always make sure we make the time for it! Having books that students can confidently read helps grow their love of reading. For independent reading time, we ensure that everyone has a comfy spot, timer is on, everyone is enjoying the silence and has a stack of books by their side. I want to ensure that students can have a stack of books that they enjoy, regardless of their reading levels at the time.
