The materials I am requesting will enhance the dramatic play center in my classroom. Dramatic play offers opportunities for children to learn about themselves, their families, and others. Dramatic play also give them a chance to explore and brighten their imagination. A child who may have a sick animal can pretend to take his animal to the vet and pretend to be the veterinarian. The child can learn the proper way to take care of his animal. Dramatic play also foster language and communication among the children while they are playing together. Most importantly the children learn to cooperate with their peers by negotiating rules and acting out different scenes.
