We have the opportunity this year to start a regulation room for our students who need some additional social/emotional support to help get through their academic day. Students who are struggling in the classroom with their emotions can go into this space to help regulate them. The students will have time to do an activity that will help calm them and then will have a set of directions to follow and things to do (movement, sensory) based on their specific mood and needs. This room will be a safe place for all students to get regulated and learn coping skills so they can be successful in the classroom.

About my class
