Being a first year teacher my books are very limited! I would love to see my students get excited about reading again with the opportunity of reading books that interest them! My students work on independent reading much of the time but we also work in small groups where we can get together and have books talks to dive even further into their reading comprehension. The more we can read, whether independent or in small groups, the better my students will become with reading. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.
