The selection of graphic novels are to help students find books that they enjoy! Over the previous years, I've noticed that more and more students are getting hooked on graphic novels. They are constantly reading them. My project is to make more graphic novels available in my classroom. After reading one of these novels, a student will give a book talk to the class, persuading us to read the book. Their challenge is to leave us hanging so that we want to pick up the book and read it ourselves. Having this project fully funded, will allow me to purchase many of the popular graphic novels that my students want to read. As a result, the student's reading level will grow.
