I want to make a special place for them to have when they read. I want them to feel special in the classroom. I work with special needs children and sometimes they need a special place to relax or be by themselves. The children's goal in my classroom is to learn to read better. They will be doing a program called Language Live and sometimes they will be working alone. This bean bag and carpet area will give them a place of comfort and a place to be alone. We will sometimes all sit around on the rug and read together in a group. This would be a different place instead of sitting in their desk all day.
