The flexible seating options will help my students learn in the environment that works best for them. These seats will be used every day during independent reading, independent math work, etc. Some of the seating options such as the chair bands and wobble seats will allow for students to get their "wiggles" out and allow for better focus and therefore retention. Having a variety of flexible seating options within one classroom provides an opportunity for students to explore and discover what environment allows them to learn most efficiently. My hope is to have enough flexible seating in my room to allow each student to have this opportunity.
