The students put together a portfolio that has a colorful cover page, several pages that are dedicated to what they have done in school. For example, pictures of them working in classes and a description of what they are doing. They will have a resume, four letters of recommendation from adults (teachers, supervisors, whoever they want to have write them a letter), and various other pages that show who they are right now. They will also include some of their schoolwork and a personal statement that can also be used to apply to colleges and/or scholarships. Their transcripts from high school and any awards that they have received will also be included. This is a living document of what they have accomplished in four years of high school and what they are planning to do after high school.
