My students will need to analyze and annotate certain novels and their experience will be improved by having these materials and help them with their unit projects. The school does not have all of these supplies and some of my students have trouble with getting them as well. I want to provide the best and fun opportunities for them to thrive and be able to succeed in the classroom as well as outside of class. The use of the pocket charts can help the students see key words that they will need to know for the unit and be reminded of why we are learning these words. Other supplies listed of the pencils, marker and colors are use to engage the students in their assignments and still have fun while learning new things in class. It is hard to make reading fun at an early age but with resources such as these listed in this project can not only help them to learn but also stay organized and be prepared for class. I would like them exposed of what it means to ready not only for the next grade but our mission to be college ready on step at a time!
