By getting a new rug, my growing students will not only have more room to sit all together as a class during circle time, or other activities we may do as a whole group, but they will have a more at home feeling and be more comfortable to learn! This rug will help make our classroom cozier and make the kids feel like they are able to relax and learn the way they deserve too! I believe this is what my classroom needs to help my students engage in learning, especially together as a whole group. Especially in first grade, it is important for my students to learn how to have social skills and social interaction with other kids their age. Circle time is a great time for this, or having lessons all together on the rug!

About my class
