I think it is very beneficial to bring engaging activities into the classroom to produce quality work. I would love to bring Fun Friday Learning Centers into my classroom. This would be to incorporating many STEM/STEAM learning techniques and strategies (such as building with LEGO bricks). Using these LEGO sets will allow students use their creativity and work together to construct building, towns, rockets, and anything they can imagine. Attendance can be an issue at my school. My hope is by using manipulatives and hands on techniques, students may look at learning and school in a positive way that will promote higher attendance and possibly more STEM/STEAM exposure.
