Funding is always an issue in schools. But at a high-poverty, low-income school, the materials needed beyond crayons and paper are limited. I wish for my students the same opportunities in art education that any other student in a high-income area would have. With exposer to new art mediums and creatively expressing themselves through the use of color, molding, and creating, I'll be able to give them the opportunities they deserve as children in art class. My goal for this campaign is to bring in new materials - such as different types of clay - for my students to be able to create and explore their imaginations in a new way!
