This skeletal model will give me a visual representation to show students how posture can affect their singing. I can do body mapping visualization with a life size physical model. I have learned so much about how I can be a better musician through someone pointing out how my body works to create sound and I want to translate this to my students. Body mapping is the art of teaching exactly what is happening scientifically and biologically in order utilize the efficiency of your body. It is a method of teaching students how their body really functions. Using this skeletal model, I can actually show the students what is happening to their musculoskeletal system when principals of posture and balance are applied to their vocal technique.
