The materials requested will be used to create several project based learning centers that the students will have an opportunity to work with for a portion of our art class. The career opportunities in the visual arts today are innumerable. Every opportunity that the students have to talk about art, share ideas, and use critical thinking skills bring them closer to understanding all of the possibilities available to them. The time spent with these resources will help develop 2 & 3 dimensional artistic skills and build self esteem & problem solving skills. These centers will also provide a great incentive for focused classroom learning and good behavior rewards.

About my class
