Many of my students have not been exposed to books outside of school. We would love to have books for our classroom, that don't have to be returned to the library. Children would have access to these books all year,(year after year), and feel like they would have some "ownership" of them. My students love to be read to, and they are also motivated to increase their reading ability. These books have been hand picked to ensure that they are of an appropriate level, and interest. Providing my students with a class library, would help foster a love of reading, and ensure that my children would be exposed to some awesome literature.
