By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The flexible seating purchased will be used during reading groups, collaborative activities, independent reading and classwork. With all of the varying learning needs in my classroom I believe it is important to give every student the opportunity to choose the type of seating that helps them maintain focus throughout the day. When students are uncomfortable they tend to become distracted an unproductive. Flexible seating allows the students the opportunity to find comfortable locations throughout the classroom. When the students are comfortable they are calm, focused, and productive.
