In my Prek-3 class, it's all about helping my students with their social emotional development in addition to focusing on their academics and learning goals. My goal is to prepare my students for integration into the grade school population. We know each child has different learning methods and learning plans. Having technology support such as the tablets I am requesting in our class when the students are in the classroom enables them to learn and explore in the technology station. The technology station will have programs installed to correspond with the learning objectives each week. The students will use the technology as another tool to engage them in the lesson because we know that every child has a different learning style and everyone retains information differently. Ultimately, our program is customized to enrich the whole child.
