I am asking for a variety of seating arrangements. The items will help the students take charge of their learning and pick what is best for them. Students all learn in different ways. Some can sit in a chair and be fine, some need a stool, some might want to stand, while others might need to wiggle while they learn. The students will be able to make the decision instead of being told how to sit. My school is working hard to establish a culture of independence and rigorous collaborative learning. By having the seats that the students feel more comfortable in, it will give the students a way to collaborate with classmates that might have the same learning style as them.

About my class
