We all know how important it is to keep our imaginations creating, hearts expressing and bodies moving during these challenging times. While many of our students have the supplies to make this happen at home, many others do not. The specials team from Glen Springs has come together to create a website to share weekly activities, online resources and build community during our quarantine time apart. The sketchbook and paints will allow students to create at home using our distance learning curriculum. The bean bag will help students to master movement skills as instructed by our PE coach and to play games with their family even with limited space. The harmonica will allow our young musicians to learn a new instrument with the guidance of our music teacher. These supplies will help make distance learning possible for those families so they are not left behind or alone during this event. We will continue to design activities that our students can do at home using these resources and what they have on hand. *kits will be supplemented with other supplies we have at school such as pencils, jump ropes and a hard copy of activities for families without internet access.
