When we returned from school after nearly six months away, many students expressed that one thing they had missed was reading books. The classroom iPad will be used to access digital books on Epic and MyOn Reader. These programs allow students to choose from a variety of high-interest books and enjoy reading. Help my students close the gaps in their learning from COVID school closures. By listening to books read aloud on these programs, students will build their vocabulary and fluency. When students read books independently on these apps, they work on their decoding and comprehension skills. My students are eager to improve their reading skills and an i-Pad to read digital books would enhance their classroom experience!
