By building a diverse classroom library, my students will have the materials they need to become strong readers. Providing students with literature they can connect to and enjoy is essential for producing avid readers. More importantly, having the tools to become a strong reader means having the tools to be successful in any path of life a student may choose. This is where it all begins. This is the foundation and is essential if we want our students to become bright and capable students. These collections of books offer an array of subjects and levels so no student is excluded. The rug offers a place for students to read comfortably. Even more, it offers a place for me to read books allowed to and model reading practices. Thank you to anyone who chooses to donate. It really makes a difference and I genuinely appreciate it.
