I am a first grade teacher in an urban school district. I want to provide my students with Scholastic News Magazine for this coming school year. Each student will receive every week a colorful magazine with information to help them build reading skills and increase science and social studies knowledge with engaging informational texts. It will also provide digital, interactive videos in English and Spanish. Students will use these magazines and on-line activities in centers, book reports and other engaging opportunities. Students get excited and look forward to receiving their own magazine that they may keep and take home to share with their family.

About my class
