This is the first year of our Heritage Astronomy League and we want to be able to view the celestial bodies in our solar system with more than the naked eye. Our lessons focus on the questions students have submitted previously. Questions like "How does the moon move around the Earth?" and, "What are moon phases?" are easily illustrated with the use of a telescope and the 'eyes-on' approach that is only possible with this technology. The students are so curious and amazed by the scientific world, that these small gestures of kindness make a world of difference to them in their learning experience.
