In my project I requested Lego materials because I believe that Pre-K is the building foundation for education. With this in mind, I requested materials such as LEGO Education Letters to help my students learn letters and to help them build their fine motor skills by stacking blocks. I also requested Primary Phonics Carpet Squares so that my students could have a comfortable place to sit and still practice social distancing. I continued with the LEGO theme by requesting LEGO Education People so that my students can learn how to play with each other and relate to each other in a healthy way. Not only do I want my students to learn their letters, I also want my students to learn social emotional skills. The playdough mats for emotions and the LEGO Education Emotions will help my students learn to name emotions in a fun way. I am excited to use these materials in my classroom.
