This project is a class set of calculators. Every student will have access to a calculator while they are in class. This is so important because some students do not have calculators at home they can use on math homework. This is an opportunity to get work done in class, or before or after school. In order to be successful, as student must have the proper tools. A calculator can help a student overcome the fear of not knowing math facts and focus on the essential ideas and deeper learning. We want students to understand the WHY of what they are learning in math class and how it can apply in the real world. These calculators in particular that have a data option that allows students to find lines of regression, standard deviations, and matrices for our Honors classes. They are extremely helpful during our statistics unit.
