These magazines are written on the reading comprehension level and interest level of my students. Action Magazine uses everyday news events to inform students of current events and how these events may impact students’ lives. Choices Magazine focuses on teaching family and consumer science, health, and life skills. Both magazines are great resources that will enable me to instruct students in achieving their Individual Education Plans (IEP). Transition skills are taught best through hands-on and excellent reading resources. Both magazines will offer motivational stories and hands-on ideas to increase life skills that will help students prepare for the adult world.
