Do you love to curl up with a good book? My students sure do! They like the opportunity to read in our classroom library nook with comfy pillows and cushions. It is important for my students to get their hands on books. The reading of the novel, Wonder, by R. J. Palacio is no exception. It would be fantastic if each student in my class gets to hold their own copy of this wondrous book that teaches kindness, empathy, courage, bravery, and friendship. We will dive into these themes as we practice our reading skills, comprehension, and vocabulary. Your donation will lead to increased student engagement as students find connections to the characters and are eager to share their thoughts and experiences.
