We have two eyes to read with! We have two ears to listen with! Having these audiobooks and portable CD players will allow my students to enjoy books in a different way and develop listen skills! This will also strengthen students comprehension skills by allowing the students to visually see the text and hear the text being read. Many of my students tend to struggle with comprehension. Using different teaching strategies by adding a listening center will allow me to reach those students that may learn better by hearing rather than seeing. This material will also give students a chance to experience new technology that they may have not been introduced to before.
