During the instructional day, we have time set aside to work with small groups of learners struggling with the content. We make time to spend with these students because we know it makes a difference in their understanding and it boosts their confidence during whole group instruction. We need this table desperately in our classroom! Currently, when I pull small groups of students, we sit on the floor in the front corner of my classroom. My students NEVER complain, but I know if we were sitting at a table it would be easier for all students to see what we were working on, and for me to monitor their progress.
