This will put books in students hands while they are stuck at home. They need to have time off of the computer reading actual books. They need to escape to other places and learn new things. We will have literature groups as well as independent reading. Many students do not have books at home and libraries are closed so they don’t have books to read. They had relied on my classroom library for their reading material. These titles offer diversity in cultures, disabilities, privilege, family life so that students can be exposed to other worlds.
