I am getting the privilege to focus on behaviors this year in our C.A.R.E. Room and I couldn’t be more excited about this adventure. I 100% believe that behavior comes from a child struggling to communicate. My goal this year in my new position is to help meet the needs of these children in a positive way. To give them the tools and opportunity to function in a classroom with behavior. Simple things such as light, touch, and sound can make sitting in a classroom and staying focused difficult for them. I hope to create a comfortable and safe place that my children can come to take a break and restart, then get back to fun and learning.

About my class
