Kids are not just little people walking through the world. They are our future. They are learning everyday on how to run our world, how to be good, kind people. Our children's emotional well-being has to come first. Their ability to process through their own emotions helps them self regulate and help others they see in distress. In today's society suicide is at an alarming increasing rate. One of the major barriers at the forefront is an inability to speak about our emotions and process through them. Our children deserve the opportunity to learn how to use proper strategies and skills that can help them deescalate from perceived situations of frustration, sadness, anger and the like. Please help me propel our children into the future with a healthy mind and body. Through the use of a warm environment, age appropriate materials and making them feel safe; our children can learn to speak openly about what happens inside of their minds and bodies and learn to accept and provide feedback.
