Currently, my students can choose to work at their desk with a chair or on the floor with a clip board. This doesn't provide for much variety or flexibility. Being able to add wobble stools to my classroom would help my wiggly learners so much. When provided with choice, my students are far less disruptive and can stay engaged with their academic goals more easily. Having more seating options also helps the students social distance better, due to COVID. Flexible seating is aligned to the Nevada Ready 21 initiative that is shifting our state to a student centered learning approach. Flexible seating honors students choice in identifying how they best learn. Providing choice has significantly helped my students work harder and happier. These additional seating options would help us grow and learn even more!
