I have been using flexible seating in my classroom for three years now. The kids love it! They work where they are comfortable which helps them to be so successful. Every year I look to add new ways for them to work independently. Kids love floor seating, it makes them feel more at home. Giving students the chance to pick their seat empowers them! They learn how to make the right choices. Having a variety of places for them to sit allows them to interact with one another. We have lots of donated furniture in our classroom! My mom's kitchen chairs, our librarian's mom's table. Our room has a home-like feel that allows students to feel comfortable. Thanks so much for your support!!
