Tools such as visuals, manipulatives, and hands-on resources keep my students engaged and enhance the learning environment. It brings life to the lesson in a fun and creative way. Manipulatives help struggling students learn through inquiry because virtual and concrete manipulatives provide differentiated instruction, makes learning more student-centered, and is a great way for students with disabilities to access the general curriculum. Science models will be part of independent and guided practices, formal and informal assessments, group projects and collaborations with peers. Math resources will be used for guided and independent practices, review, formal and informal assessments, group projects where they are collaborating with peers.
