By providing my students with flexible seating, I will provide them with multiple opportunities to listen and learn. My students are an active bunch and struggle to focus while sitting at a table or a rug. They have a variety of social, language, and physical disabilities. My students have a strong desire to learn. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. The use of flexible seating allows me to arrange my classroom based on my student's individual needs. With access to flexible seating, I hope to promote active listening and learning within my classroom!
