These materials will allow my students to explore the unknown. With hands-on activities and experiments, I can deepen students' thinking and understanding. Exploring gives students time to think, investigate, problem-solve and collect information. These experiences will help them grow into independent learners who love science. By donating to this project, you will help me engage my students in learning, creating an experience they'll never forget. The investments in science and engineering are well worth it. As problems continue to arise in the world, I feel the need to empower students in becoming problem-solvers who can make a real difference. The iron filings and magnets will serve as great learning tools as students learn about magnets, magnet fields and how they work. The glowing bubble light will not only serve as an experiment with the density of liquids, but also stand as a great visual reminder. The graduated cylinders will be great for measuring the physical properties of matter. The conductivity stick will allow students to use scientific practices while determining what materials/objects are conductors. The buzzers will engage students in game-like learning. The Stem Activities will provide students to come after school and Saturday school to dig into what interests them.
