Each year, students come in with the wrong idea of what a scientist truly is. Sure, some work in labs or have crazy hair like Albert Einstein, but I want them to know that THEY are scientists too! Any time we conduct inquiry and investigations in the classroom, they are using the same skills that famous scientists all around the world use. To help them take ownership of their "scientist" persona, I would love for them to have their own lab coats, goggles, and tables to conduct their research! This will go a long way in changing the stigma of what a scientist really looks like to them!

About my class
