I would like to help my students to be successful while doing reading and writing workshops. The idea is that students will go to a different part of the classroom and complete a 10-15 mini lessons that will teach students strong reading and writing skills. The rest of the class period is used to help students practice their skills in their own practice notebooks. Students are typically more successful if they have a comfortable place to sit and take their notes during the instructional period of the lesson. Students also tend to be able to comprehend more if they are comfortable. Please help me complete a successful year!
