I want my students to be excited about coming to school each day and the morning time can be a challenging time for all of us. My students will not be asked to complete seat work in the morning, they will instead engage in creating something that is meaningful to them that day. My students will have the ability to choose from these materials each morning right when they walk through the door. Morning choice with highly engaging materials like these will encourage students to participate in other aspects of their school learning and will help to foster a positive classroom environment in which students feel valued and supported to express themselves.
