Research shows that allowing students to move throughout the classroom by offering alternative seating choices, enhances student engagement. It allows students to have cozy sections of the classroom, where they can enjoy educational instruction and activities while engaged in small groups, guided practice, and individual studies. With wobble cushions and balance balls, students will be able to work at different heights, in different positions; "reducing the duration of sedentary periods, which research has identified as a danger to health." It can be difficult for students to sit still. By donating to our project, you would help purchase balance balls and wobble cushions that offer a range of motion, while allowing students to stay seated.
