I have 26 delightful students who are always eager to learn. My classroom feels like a smaller version of the United Nations. I have students from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Mexico, Georgia, Nepal, Uzbekistan, Albania, Puerto Rico, Egypt and Brooklyn, NY. Most of my students are ELL's. The majority of my students come from low income households, which means that purchasing basic school supplies is a financial burden. Although these children come from low income households, they always come to school with positive attitudes, ready to learn, and are ready to hit the ground running the moment they walk through the classroom door. It is nothing but a pleasure teaching my future UN ambassadors :-)
