We will use these materials for engaging whole group reading lessons. I would love to teach my students how to annotate and do close reads with multiple types of text, but to do that we all need the same text in front of us that is interesting to read with meaningful text, pictures/other text features and photographs that are engaging. The Scholastic magazine, Story Works, has high interest articles and stories that include all genres. We currently have no class sets of text that are in color and that include current topics. My class would really benefit from this subscription. We would greatly appreciate any donations. Thank you in advance for your support.
