My goal is to give students hand's-on experiences that will spark an interest in the future of technology. Robotics is a way to engage students in learning how to be problem solvers and critical thinkers. My campus is currently the only one in our district without a competitive robotics team. I plan on changing that so that my students have the same opportunities as everyone else in our district. This equipment provides a spring board for these students to get interested in electrical engineering and seek further experience in robotics through STEM activities. The Arduino kits will allow my students to put their hands on equipment and actively learn through many different activities and project based scenarios.
